Steak with Baked Potato & Roasted Broccoli

Ingredients:

🔹 For the Steak:

  • 1 ribeye or sirloin steak (810 oz)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme (optional)

🔹 For the Baked Potato:

  • 1 large russet potato
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp sour cream (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

🔹 For the Roasted Broccoli:

  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

Step by Step:

1️⃣ Prepare the Baked Potato:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pierce the potato with a fork, rub with a little oil and salt, and bake for 50-60 minutes.
  • Slice open, add butter, shredded cheese, and let melt. Top with sour cream if desired.

2️⃣ Cook the Steak:

  • Pat the steak dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
  • Heat a pan over medium-high heat, add olive oil, and sear the steak for 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Add butter and garlic to the pan, baste the steak for another minute, then remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

3️⃣ Roast the Broccoli:

  • Toss broccoli with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Roast in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes or until crispy.

4️⃣ Plate & Serve:

  • Arrange the steak slices, cheesy baked potato, and roasted broccoli on a plate. Enjoy!
