Ingredients
5–6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
1 cup packed brown sugar
4–5 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Pat chicken thighs dry and season with black pepper.
2. Optional: Sear chicken for 2–3 mins per side.
3. Whisk together brown sugar, garlic, and soy sauce.
4. Pour sauce into Crock Pot and add chicken skin-side up.
5. Cook on low 5–6 hours or high 2.5–3 hours until tender.
6. Optional: Broil chicken 2–3 minutes for crispy skin.
7. Garnish with parsley and drizzle sauce over top.
Notes
Brown sugar creates a rich, sticky glaze—scrape sides to include it.
Use fresh garlic for the most robust flavor.
Double the sauce if serving over rice or pasta.
