- 1 lb breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)
- 8 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)
- 1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
- Chopped parsley or green onions (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Brown sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked; drain excess grease.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Spread cooked sausage in the baking dish, then sprinkle with 2 cups cheddar.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the sausage and cheese.
- Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer on top.
- Bake 40–45 minutes, until eggs are set and the tots are crisp and golden.
- Sprinkle extra cheddar over the top and bake 5 minutes more until melted.
- Garnish with parsley or green onions and serve warm.
