Description

Ingredients

  • 8 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)
  • 1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
  • Chopped parsley or green onions (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Brown sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked; drain excess grease.
  3. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Spread cooked sausage in the baking dish, then sprinkle with 2 cups cheddar.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the sausage and cheese.
  6. Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer on top.
  7. Bake 40–45 minutes, until eggs are set and the tots are crisp and golden.
  8. Sprinkle extra cheddar over the top and bake 5 minutes more until melted.
