- 4 slices thick white bread
- ½ cup pizza sauce
- 20–24 pepperoni slices
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- Optional: crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Place bread slices on a baking sheet.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over each slice.
- Layer pepperoni slices on top of the sauce.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over each slice.
- Season lightly with Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly and edges are golden.
- Broil for 1–2 minutes if desired for extra browning. Serve hot.
