Description

A quick and easy one-pot creamy garlic pasta recipe with rich flavors of garlic, Parmesan, and a touch of spice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter with olive oil.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, then bring to a gentle boil.
  4. Add penne pasta, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring frequently, until pasta is tender and sauce thickens (about 12–15 minutes).
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until fully melted and creamy.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
