- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter with olive oil.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, then bring to a gentle boil.
- Add penne pasta, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring frequently, until pasta is tender and sauce thickens (about 12–15 minutes).
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until fully melted and creamy.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
Notes
- Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for more or less heat.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results.
