For the Mushroom Omelette:

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)

For the Side:

  • 2 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup fresh tomatoes, sliced

Instructions

Step by Step:

1️⃣ Sauté the Mushrooms:

  • Heat butter or olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add sliced mushrooms and cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  • Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

2️⃣ Cook the Omelette:

  • In a bowl, whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Pour the eggs into the pan with mushrooms, tilting the pan to spread evenly.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges start to set.
  • Fold the omelette in half and cook for another minute.

3️⃣ Assemble the Plate:

  • Serve the omelette with slices of Swiss cheese and fresh sliced tomatoes.
  • Sprinkle with red pepper flakes for extra flavor if desired.

Notes

Cooking Note:
