🔹 For the Salmon:
- 2 salmon fillets
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
🔹 For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp honey (optional)
🔹 For the Roasted Asparagus:
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
Step by Step:
1️⃣ Season & Cook the Salmon:
- Pat salmon dry and rub with olive oil, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat and sear the salmon for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
2️⃣ Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Stir in lemon juice and honey (if using), then pour over the salmon.
3️⃣ Roast the Asparagus:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss asparagus with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Roast for 12-15 minutes until tender.
4️⃣ Assemble & Serve:
- Plate the salmon with roasted asparagus.
- Drizzle extra garlic butter sauce on top and serve with lemon slices. Enjoy!
