- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ⅓ cup honey
- 1½ tablespoons hot sauce (or to taste)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional for extra heat)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat chicken dry, then rub with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In a hot oven-safe skillet, sear chicken for 2–3 minutes per side until lightly golden.
- In a saucepan, combine honey, hot sauce, garlic, vinegar, butter, and chili flakes. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Pour half the hot honey sauce over the chicken and transfer skillet to oven. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until internal temp hits 165°F.
- Remove from oven, spoon remaining sauce over top, and garnish with fresh herbs. Slice and serve hot.
