- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for kick)
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for pan-frying)
- Chopped green onions, for garnish
- Cooked rice or green beans, for serving
Instructions
- Season and coat chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Dredge in flour.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and fry chicken pieces until golden brown.
- Melt butter in a clean skillet until lightly golden and foamy.
- Add honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes. Stir until sticky and glossy.
- Toss fried chicken in the sauce until fully coated. Garnish with green onions and serve.
