Description

Homemade pizza rolls are a cheesy, crispy snack perfect for game day or as a fun appetizer. These fried bites are filled with mozzarella, pepperoni, and pizza sauce.


Ingredients

  • 20 wonton wrappers
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup pizza sauce (plus more for dipping)
  • ½ cup mini pepperoni or chopped pepperoni
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Oil for frying
  • Optional: grated Parmesan cheese for garnish

Instructions

  1. Lay wonton wrappers flat on a clean surface.
  2. Place about 1 tablespoon shredded mozzarella in the center of each wrapper.
  3. Add 1 teaspoon pizza sauce and a few pieces of pepperoni on top of the cheese.
  4. Sprinkle lightly with Italian seasoning.
  5. Brush wrapper edges with water, fold into a triangle, and press firmly to seal.
  6. Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F.
  7. Fry pizza rolls in batches for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  9. Serve hot with marinara sauce for dipping.
