A quick and flavorful creamy garlic butter shrimp skillet ready in under 20 minutes.
Ingredients

- 1½ lbs large shrimp (peeled & deveined)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh chopped parsley
- Juice of ½ lemon
Instructions
- Sear the shrimp in melted butter until pink and opaque.
- Sauté garlic and red pepper flakes in remaining butter until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning, simmer until thickened.
- Return shrimp to skillet, coat in sauce, and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Add lemon juice and parsley, then serve hot over rice, pasta, or bread.
Notes
- Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spiciness.
- Serve immediately for best texture.
- Pairs well with crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
