Description
This flavor-packed skillet combo is a quick weeknight win — juicy shrimp, smoky sausage, and broccoli in a rich garlic butter sauce!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Optional: squeeze of lemon, red pepper flakes for heat
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and sausage slices. Sear until crispy and browned, flipping once. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add a splash of water and broccoli. Cover and steam for 2–3 minutes until just tender.
- Add butter and garlic to the skillet. Toss in the shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink.
- Return sausage and broccoli to the pan. Toss everything in the garlic butter and let flavors meld for 2 more minutes.
- Serve hot on its own, over rice, or cauliflower rice for a low-carb hit.
Notes
- Optional: hit it with lemon juice or red pepper flakes for extra flavor.
- Great for a one-pan, quick weeknight dinner.
