- 6 ounces deli turkey slices
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle.
- In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese and Dijon mustard until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the puff pastry.
- Layer the turkey slices across the pastry, then sprinkle the mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly on top.
- Starting from the long side, roll the puff pastry tightly into a log.
- Slice into 1-inch rounds and place the pinwheels cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water. Brush the tops of the pinwheels with the egg wash.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and dried parsley.
- Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until the pinwheels are puffed and deeply golden brown.
- Let them cool slightly before serving warm.
