Description

Easy-to-make turkey and cheese puff pastry pinwheels, perfect as a savory party snack or holiday finger food.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 6 ounces deli turkey slices
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese and Dijon mustard until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the puff pastry.
  5. Layer the turkey slices across the pastry, then sprinkle the mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly on top.
  6. Starting from the long side, roll the puff pastry tightly into a log.
  7. Slice into 1-inch rounds and place the pinwheels cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water. Brush the tops of the pinwheels with the egg wash.
  9. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and dried parsley.
  10. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until the pinwheels are puffed and deeply golden brown.
  11. Let them cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes
