This quick, flavorful soup is the perfect comfort food fix for busy nights – cozy, hearty, and full of dumpling goodness!
Ingredients

- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 6 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 cups water
- 3 cups frozen potstickers or dumplings (any filling)
- 1 carrot, thinly sliced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)
- 1 cup baby spinach or bok choy
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Chopped green onions & sesame seeds, for topping
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat sesame oil and sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Pour in broth, water, soy sauce, vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil.
- Add carrots and mushrooms, simmering for 5 minutes.
- Carefully add frozen potstickers, simmering until tender and heated through (about 6–8 minutes).
- Stir in spinach or bok choy until just wilted. Serve hot, topped with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- Use any type of frozen dumplings or potstickers.
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
- Add other vegetables like cabbage or bell peppers if desired.
