A simple and hearty crockpot meal featuring lil smokies, potatoes, and green beans in a savory barbecue sauce.

- 2 (14-ounce) packages lil smokies
- 1 1/2 pounds baby potatoes, halved
- 1 pound green beans, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Spray the crockpot lightly with nonstick cooking spray.
- Add the halved baby potatoes to the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add the lil smokies and green beans on top of the potatoes.
- In a small bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce, brown sugar, melted butter, minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt.
- Pour the sauce evenly over the lil smokies, potatoes, and green beans.
- Gently toss everything to coat.
- Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the potatoes are fork-tender.
- Stir gently before serving and spoon extra sauce over the top.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add a dash of hot sauce or red pepper flakes.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
