Easy and juicy slow cooker chicken drumsticks seasoned with herbs and spices, perfect for a family dinner.

- 8 chicken legs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Pat the chicken legs dry with paper towels.
- Rub the chicken legs with olive oil.
- In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, and Italian seasoning.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over all the chicken legs.
- Add the chicken broth, butter, and minced garlic to the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Place the seasoned chicken legs into the slow cooker in a single layer as much as possible.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or on high for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
- For more color, place the cooked chicken legs on a baking sheet and broil for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
- Spoon some of the slow cooker juices over the chicken and serve warm.
Notes
- You can substitute drumsticks with chicken thighs if preferred.
- For crispy skin, broil the chicken for an extra 2–3 minutes after slow cooking.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
