🔹 For the Pasta:
- 200g rotini or fusilli pasta
- 2 sausages (Italian or your choice), sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
🔹 For the Creamy Tomato Sauce:
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
- Salt & black pepper to taste
🔹 For Garnish:
- Extra Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Step by Step:
1️⃣ Cook the Pasta:
- Boil pasta according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
2️⃣ Cook the Sausages:
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add sliced sausages and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Remove from pan and set aside.
3️⃣ Make the Sauce:
- In the same pan, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add tomato sauce, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, basil, and red pepper flakes.
- Stir and let the sauce simmer for 5 minutes.
4️⃣ Combine the Pasta & Sausage:
- Add the cooked pasta and sausages into the sauce.
- Toss to coat evenly and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
5️⃣ Serve & Garnish:
- Plate the pasta and top with extra Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
