A delicious and easy-to-make Chicken Philly Sandwich with melty cheese and sautéed peppers.
Ingredients

- 2 large chicken breasts, cooked & shredded
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 yellow onion, sliced
- 1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional for heat)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
- 2 hoagie rolls or sub buns
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and cook sliced onions and bell peppers until soft and slightly charred.
- Add the shredded chicken to the skillet with garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Stir until well coated and heated through.
- Sprinkle cheese over the chicken mixture in the skillet. Cover for a couple of minutes to let it melt.
- Lightly toast your hoagie rolls.
- Stuff each roll with the hot cheesy chicken and veggie filling. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Adjust chili flakes to your preferred heat level.
- Use provolone cheese for a more authentic Philly flavor.
