Ingredients
1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp dried Italian herbs (or oregano + basil)
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
¼ cup grated Parmesan (optional for extra flavor)
Pinch of salt
Olive oil (for brushing crust)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Roll out pizza dough to desired shape and thickness.
2. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, herbs, and a pinch of salt.
3. Brush half the garlic butter over the dough. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan evenly.
4. Fold dough over cheese (like a calzone or flatbread fold), press edges gently.
5. Brush remaining garlic butter on top. Optionally sprinkle more herbs or cheese.
6. Bake on a parchment-lined tray for 12–18 minutes until golden and bubbly.
7. Cool slightly, slice, and serve warm with marinara or dipping sauce.
Notes
Use parchment paper for easy cleanup and to prevent sticking.
You can prep ahead and bake just before serving for best texture.
Add red pepper flakes if you like heat.
