- 6 slices thick white bread (or brioche/texas toast)
- 3 tbsp butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella (or mozzarella + provolone blend)
- 1 tbsp grated Parmesan (optional)
- 1 tsp dried parsley (or 1 tbsp fresh chopped)
- Pinch salt & black pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix softened butter with garlic (and a pinch of salt/pepper if using).
- Spread garlic butter evenly over each slice of bread and place on the baking sheet.
- Top each slice with a generous layer of shredded mozzarella (and Parmesan if using).
- Bake 8–10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Broil 30–60 seconds for golden brown spots (watch closely).
- Sprinkle with parsley and serve warm with marinara or your favorite dipping sauce.
