Description

A creamy and spicy Cajun chicken pasta dish that’s perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Extra Parmesan for topping

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Rub chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, then sear chicken for 5–6 mins per side.
  3. Let chicken rest 5 minutes before slicing into strips.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic until fragrant, then pour in cream. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Stir in Parmesan, season with salt and pepper. Toss in fettuccine, then top with sliced chicken. Finish with chopped parsley and more cheese.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for more or less spice.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results.
