- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp butter (optional)
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 2 tbsp chopped cilantro (optional)
- 2 tbsp diced tomato (optional)
- 1 tbsp finely diced red onion (optional)
- 4 slices sturdy bread
- 1–2 tsp olive oil or butter (for toasting)
Instructions
- Toast bread until golden and crisp.
- Mash avocados with lime juice and salt. Stir in optional ingredients.
- Toss shrimp with olive oil and spices.
- Cook shrimp in a skillet for 1–2 minutes per side.
- Spread avocado mash on toast and top with shrimp.

- Adjust cayenne pepper for desired heat level.
- Use fresh lime juice for best flavor.
- Serve immediately to maintain toast crispness.
